In order to facilitate the real estate transaction, Ticon Title may act as an Escrow Officer by managing the disbursement of funds and documents. Escrow refers to the neutral third-party that handles the funds, documents, and tasks specific to the closing process, as it has been outlined in the sales contract or purchase agreement.

For most buyers, a loan and subsequent mortgage will need to be secured for financing. Therefore the parties who are generally (but not always) involved in Escrow and Closing include the Buyer, the Seller, the Lender, the Real Estate Professional, and the Escrow Officer (or Closer).

Escrow is placed with a neutral third-party so that disbursement only takes place in accordance with all instructions being adhered to and all terms being met. While a real estate professional may recommend an escrow company, buyers and sellers have a choice as to what service provider they use!
